9/12/2025 UPDATE. I had a great experience yesterday and I definitely think the bank deserves a 5-star, so the upgrade. Here is my experience.
I needed to withdraw a large amount from my account. Unfortunately, the bank network is down due to the cable cutting by Telangana Power(not the fault of the bank). The Manager, Mr. Ramachandran, took it as a challenge and stationed an employee at a branch where the network is up and used phone to send him information. For example, he sent my check information and the employee was able to verify the availability of funds. Based on it, Mr. Ramachandran authorized payment. I am very impressed by his dedication and innovative solution to serve the customers under very difficult conditions. In light of this, I am updating my review to a 5-star. Thank you Mr. Ramachandran and Maha bank.

Banks are slow and this bank is no exception. Some blame on the customers, who seem to ignore lines and try to cut in at counters. Bank management can help by organizing their counters to help customers better. I take away 1 star for this.
Another 1/2 star taken away for services being dependent on availability of specific people. I had issue with relinking my new Aadhar card and had to go twice because one employee was on leave.
The managers are quite good and know their job well. I received excellent service from them. A small complaint is with the bank's software which seems to give errors.
The online services for accounts are good.
Overall, I give 3.5 stars, round up to 4 stars. I think by improving counter service, training more employees to handle multiple services and finally, improving their customer experience, this branch can get 5 stars.
